Theme Changed Again
Yeah, yeah. I’ve changed the theme of this site once again. I can’t quite decide what I want to do with this site. I can’t let it go, as this is the very first site I ever bought for blogging purposes. It’s not the first domain name I’ve ever purchased, but it is the first one that I did on my own. I’m kinda partial to it and not ready to just let it sit in the background and die.
Every time I think I’ve come up with another idea for this site, it goes sour and I move on to something else. It’s more of an experimental site than anything else, but that’s ok. At least I have a place where I can play around without the worry of doing too much damage. And, if I decide I want to change a few things around, that’s fine and dandy.
I really like the new theme, though. I collect roses and all things with roses on them. I’ve got everything from antique sugar bowls to bed linens to dried roses all over my house. It’s enough to make my husband run screaming for the hills. LOL. I prefer roses that don’t die, but I’ll take any type of rose.
There are a few things about this theme I’m not real happy about, but not that big a deal. Nothing I can’t live with or without. Maybe I’ll do something with it now that I’ve got a big rose sitting up there where I can look at it all the time. Who knows. Then again, maybe I’ll find another theme I like better one of these days and start all over again. I’m the most indecisive person I know. LOL

I’m such a flake.
I think more of my problem is not so much a blogging problem, but more of a lack of enthusiasm.
I appreciate you wanting to help me with the coding part, I have no idea how to do any of that. I think I’m good for now, but if I change my mind (which I do quite often), you’ll be the first person I tell. LOL
Sounds like you’re going through something I went through shortly after I bought one of my domains. I’d bought others before but because this one was centered around blogging I had a tougher time deciding what to do specificly with it. I changed my theme half a thousand times before I finally figured it out and even now it’s a tentave idea.
By the way, I love this new theme. It’s very visually friendly and draws me in completely. Whatever you decide to do just let it flow and eventually it’ll figure itself out. Every blog/site has the flavor of the writer who feeds words into it, you give it enough time and freedom and your words will take shape into what they need to be.
Also, I’m a coder and I design templates in my free time (not for my own use anymore else I spend more time coding than anything else) but if you can tell me what precisely you don’t like about your template I can tell you how to change it or build you a custom template if you’d like. I’ve done it for a couple of other people now and depending on what you like and what platform you’re using it usually doesn’t take me very long to figure it out.
